Configure Firebase to save your forum data to the cloud. Data will be accessible from any device!
💡 Recommended: Hardcode Firebase Config
For the best experience, hardcode your Firebase credentials directly into the HTML file. This way:
- ✅ All users automatically connect to Firebase (no setup needed)
- ✅ User posts are saved to cloud immediately
- ✅ Works across devices without any configuration
- ✅ One-time setup - configure once, works forever
📝 To hardcode: Open your index.html file, find the FIREBASE_CONFIG object (around line 1158), and replace the placeholder values with your actual Firebase credentials from below.

📋 EmailJS Setup Instructions
Step 1: Go to emailjs.com and create a free account
Step 2: Add an email service (Gmail recommended - click "Add New Service" → select Gmail → connect your account)
Step 3: Create an email template:
- Click "Email Templates" → "Create New Template"
- Name it "forum-notification"
- In the content, use exactly:
{{subject}}for subject and{{message}}for message body - The "To email" should use:
{{to_email}}
Step 4: Copy your credentials:
- Public Key: Account → General (top right corner)
- Service ID: Email Services → Your service → Service ID column
- Template ID: Email Templates → Your template → Template ID column
💡 Tip: After entering your credentials, click "Save Email Settings" then "Send Test Email" to verify everything works!

Download backups regularly to prevent data loss. Backup files contain all users, posts, messages, and settings.
